Your privacy is important to us. Just as we wouldn't want people mistreating our information, we'll do everything we can to safeguard yours. Any information that we collect will only be used in ways for which you have consented.

Information We Collect

When you register for an account on our website (and agree to our Terms of Service) we record your login name and email address. When you checkout from the shopping cart we also record your real name, credit card billing address and company or organization name (if you have one). Credit card numbers and site passwords are not stored in our database.
Collected information is never shared with any other organization except when required for credit card processing. Collected information is never sold to any organization. We do not intentionally collect information from children under the age of thirteen (13).

Use of Personally Identifying Information

ErgoTech collects the e-mail addresses, names and potentially other information volunteered when you communicate with us or purchase products or download free software.

We will use the information gathered for the provision of products and services to you; including billing, authentication, contact and improvement to said products services and its websites.

ErgoTech's website provides you with the facility to create and post content, such as on our forums or in the page comments. Any personally identifying information you publish using these services may be displayed publically.

Only registered users will receive occasional emails about new products, services, and other announcements. This opt-in selection can be changed at any time by logging in and changing this option from the Edit tab on the “my account” link.

Protection of Personally Identifying Information

ErgoTech discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only to those of its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations that (i) need to know that information in order to process it on ErgoTech's behalf or to provide services available at ErgoTech's websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those employees, contractors and affiliated organizations may be located outside of your home country; by using the ErgoTech website, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.

ErgoTech will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone. Other than to its employees, contractors and affiliated organizations, as described above, ErgoTech discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information only in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request, or when we believe in good faith that disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect the property or rights of ErgoTech itself, third parties or the public at large.

If you are a registered user of our website, ErgoTech may occasionally send you an email to tell you about new features, solicit your feedback, or just keep you up to date with what’s going on with ErgoTech and our products. We primarily use our website to communicate this type of information, so we expect to keep this type of email to a minimum. If you send us a request (for example via a support email, forum, or via one of our feedback mechanisms), we reserve the right to publish it in order to help us clarify or respond to your request or to help us support other users. If we do this, we will not publish any personally identifying information related to the support. ErgoTech takes all measures reasonably necessary to protect against the unauthorized access, use, alteration or destruction of potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information.

Should ErgoTech be acquired or merged with another organization, your information may be transferred. We will notify you if your information is to be subject to a different privacy policy.

Should ErgoTech cease business or file for bankruptcy, information held about you will not be transferred to a third party.

Cookies

A cookie is a small amount of information that our websites can store on your computer. Your computer provides this cookie when visiting the same website in the future. Cookies are used to enhance your experience with a website.

ErgoTech may use cookies to identify visitors and track visits to our website, store login session information and to remember your user preferences.

Access to your information

You can change any of the personally identifying information volunteered to us by logging into your account, clicking on “my account” and using the Edit tab.
If you would like us to delete any personally identifying information held about you, we will do so on request unless we need to hold the information as part of the provision of products and services to you.

Privacy Policy Changes

Although most changes are likely to be minor, ErgoTech may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in ErgoTech's sole discretion. ErgoTech encourages visitors to frequently check this page for any changes to its Privacy Policy. Your continued use of this site after any change in this Privacy Policy will constitute your acceptance of such change.
